Sleeping with a Snot Bubble!? Reaction to the "Sea Voyage" in Rilakkuma Episode 2: "Too Adorable"

Episode 2 of the anime Rilakkuma has aired, and adorable scenes such as Rilakkuma sailing solo across stormy seas and sleeping with a snot bubble on deck have become a hot topic.

Serving as the narrator for this work is singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta, who is also active as the vocalist for the music unit "YOASOBI." Episode 2 opens with Ikuta’s gentle voice saying, "Rilakkuma has become a captain," showing a dignified Rilakkuma wearing a hat and a fluttering cape on a ship.

During the voyage, Rilakkuma gets soaked after riding over a large wave. While drying the cape and the costume, there is a heartwarming moment where a cute seal peeks out.

Later, the episode depicts Rilakkuma enjoying the sea journey by looking through binoculars and fishing. A narration says, "Oh, I can see an island," but there is no response from Rilakkuma. As the camera zooms in, Rilakkuma is seen fast asleep, blowing a snot bubble.
