"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is an anime based on the manga of the same name, written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) and boasting over 35 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Set in a world "after" the Demon King was defeated by the Hero's party, the story follows Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years.
