The official X account for the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime has announced the launch of "Gokuraku Juju Yasumi 3," an event commemorating the 5th anniversary of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime, and posted the event visual, which has become a hot topic.
This event is being held as the third collaboration with Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA. The event period runs from April 29 to May 26, and plans include the sale of merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations, the sale of collaboration menu items, and the implementation of collaboration baths.
The released visual depicts five characters in yukata from left to right: Satoru Gojo (CV: Yūichi Nakamura), Nobara Kugisaki (CV: Asami Seto), Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki), Megumi Fushiguro (CV: Yūma Uchida), and Kento Nanami (CV: Kenjiro Tsuda). Each is holding a bath bucket or towel, showing a relaxed appearance. Particularly distinctive is Nanami, standing on the far right, who is depicted with his bangs down, unlike his usual slicked-back hairstyle.
In response to the posted visual, fans on social media have been mistaking Nanami with his bangs down for another character (Naoya Zenin), with numerous comments such as "I thought it was Naoya, so I'm glad it's Nanami," "I was startled - I thought it was Naoya," and "I-I was sure it was Naoya... Thank you for including Nanamin!!" Other comments celebrating the event and newly drawn illustrations include "Nanami's illustration is too good," "Nanamin is so handsome," "Hey, everyone looks incredibly sexy," and "Thank you for the freshly bathed and warm Nanamin."
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is an animated work based on the manga by Gege Akutami. It is a dark fantasy depicting the battles of jujutsu sorcerers who use jujutsu to exorcise monsters called "cursed spirits" born from negative human emotions. Serialization began in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in 2018, and after TV anime adaptation and theatrical film releases, it has gained explosive popularity both domestically and internationally.
