"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Chapter 1" BD & DVD Set to Release on July 29; New CM Streamed! Limited Edition Features Storage Box Drawn by Character Designer Akira Matsushima

The Blu-ray and DVD for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Chapter 1 - The Return of Akaza are officially set to be released on Wednesday, July 29. Along with this announcement, a promotional CM, new illustrations by Akira Matsushima, and details regarding the luxurious bonus content have been unveiled.

Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, which has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation, this film is animated by ufotable. Since the debut of the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc in 2019, the franchise has expanded through TV series, feature films, and world tour screenings. The Infinity Castle Arc, which leads toward the grand finale, is being produced as a movie trilogy, with this film serving as the first chapter. It was released in theaters across Japan on July 18, 2025, and concluded its theatrical run on April 9 (excluding some theaters).

The Limited Edition release will include a special storage box, a digipak, and a special slipcase, all featuring new illustrations by character designer and chief animation director Akira Matsushima. Furthermore, it comes with a 2-disc bonus CD (Original Soundtrack: Film Scoring Version STEREO MIX) and a bonus disc packed with exclusive video content. This bonus disc features "Kimetsu Enroku" starring Natsuki Hanae, Hiro Shimono, Takahiro Sakurai, and Saori Hayami, as well as a digest of the Japanese stage greetings, Global Highlights 2025, "Mezamashi Janken" segments, the special video "Onward to the Infinity Castle," and a collection of PVs and CMs. Enclosed bonuses also include a special booklet where the production staff and cast share their dedication and highlights of the film, along with a 16-page accordion-style booklet.

Additionally, as a first-come, first-served pre-order bonus common to all retailers, a "shikishi" (illustration board) drawn by Akira Matsushima will be provided. Various retailer-specific bonuses and limited editions bundled with merchandise are also being prepared. Furthermore, as an early pre-order bonus for the Limited Edition, a serial code will be distributed to apply for a "Stage Greeting Screening Event."
