"Witch Hat Atelier" is based on the high-fantasy manga by Kamome Shirahama, currently serialized in "Morning Two" (Kodansha). Set in a world governed by the law that "those who cannot use magic must never see the moment a spell is cast," the story begins when Coco, a young girl from a small village who yearns to be a witch, glimpses the magic of a young sorcerer named Qifrey and learns a "great secret."
