——Could you tell us how you first encountered The Apothecary Diaries and what you find charming about Maomao?
Mizuiro: I usually watch a lot of new anime, and I decide which series to watch by looking at the PVs (promotional videos) before they air. For The Apothecary Diaries, I saw the PV and thought it looked interesting, so I started watching.
I think Maomao’s charm lies in the fact that she is usually very calm and rational, but her atmosphere completely changes when it comes to things she loves. I find that gap very cute and appealing.
——Are there any cosplays you would like to try in the future?
Mizuiro: Personally, I like older anime, so in the future, I’d like to continue cosplaying mainly nostalgic works. Also, I really like China-style girls, so if there are any Chinese-themed characters I like, I’d want to cosplay them.
Recently, I’ve been thinking about trying a cosplay of Kagura from Gintama, and I hope to share some fun videos along with it.
