To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., a special commemorative visual has been released.
The series is based on the popular manga by Shūichi Asō, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) for six years. With 26 volumes currently available, the series has surpassed a cumulative total of 9 million copies. The first season of the TV anime began broadcasting on July 4, 2016, followed by a second season, a Final Chapter, and the Reawakened series, totaling 4 seasons and 56 "Phis" (280 episodes) across TV and streaming platforms.
The special visual features the psychic Kusuo Saiki at the center, surrounded by familiar characters such as the mysterious idiot whose thoughts even Kusuo can't read, Riki Nendō; the "Chunibyo" enthusiast, Shun Kaidō; the perfect girl, Kokomi Teruhashi; and the former delinquent, Aren Kuboyasu. The illustration is designed as a special 10th-anniversary piece, looking like a painting popping out of its frame. Additionally, a "chibi" illustration of Kusuo Saiki using his psychic powers to bend a spoon—first revealed at Jump Festa 2026—has been introduced as a special 10th-anniversary icon.
In addition to the release of new illustrations, various projects are planned throughout the year to celebrate the anime's 10th anniversary.
