[Photos/Images] Is Episode 4 of the Anime Daemons of the Shadow Realm an Ayumu Murase Festival? Fans Surprised by "Intense Triple Credits": "The Overuse of Ayumu Murase!" 1st

The 4th episode of the anime Daemons of the Shadow Realm, based on the latest work by hit manga artist Hiromu Arakawa (known for Fullmetal Alchemist), has been broadcasting since April 25. Fans have expressed their surprise at the ending credits, where the name of voice actor Ayumu Murase appears multiple times, with comments such as "There are so many Ayumu Murases...!!" and "The overuse of Ayumu Murase!"

In Episode 4, "Jin and Yuru," Yuru (CV: Kenshō Ono) and the Daemons Right and Left faced off against Jin Kagemori (CV: Junichi Suwabe) and his team. The Daemons Jin commands are the "Scavengers"—a highly versatile pair consisting of "Ai," who swallows everything, and "Makoto," who spits them out.

The roles of Ai and Makoto are played by Ayumu Murase, who was already part of the cast as the character Gabriel. Additionally, since the Daemons Kotetsu and Jiro (also voiced by Murase) appeared in this episode, Murase’s name ended up being listed three times in the ending credits.

Regarding Murase playing three pairs of Daemons by himself, reactions spread on social media: "I’m shocked that the Daemons' voices are all Ayumu Murase," "Ayumu Murase... there are too many Ayumu Murases...!!", "The overuse of Ayumu Murase!", and "That intense triple credit for Ayumu Murase is hilarious (lol)." Some fans are even predicting that "he might keep taking on more roles every time new Daemons appear," making it a point of interest to see if his roles will increase further in the future.
