TV Anime "World is Dancing" Key Visual Unveiled & July 2nd Broadcast! OP to be Macaroni Enpitsu's Latest Song "Syusyo

The key visual and main trailer for the TV anime "World is Dancing" have been released, and it has been announced that the series will begin broadcasting on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 PM on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and other stations. Additionally, the opening theme has been decided as Macaroni Enpitsu's latest song, "Syusyo."

Based on the manga by Kazuto Mihara, this story is set in a turbulent era of constant conflict. It depicts the journey of Oniyasha (CV: Yumiri Hanamori), a beautiful and curious young boy who meets people, laughs, cries, and faces his own pathetic nature while creating a new style of dance to live in this evanescent world.

It is a "dancing story" spanning 600 years, depicting what might have happened when Zeami—the man who would later create "Noh"—was still known as Oniyasha.

Animation production is handled by Cypic, known for works such as "Umamusume: Cinderella Gray" and "The Summer Hikaru Died." The director is Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, recognized for his work on "The Great Passage," "Backflip!!," and "Love Me, Love Me Not."

In conjunction with this news, a new artist photograph of Macaroni Enpitsu has also been released. The photography was once again handled by Seiya Fujii, who has worked on artwork and advertisements for a wide range of artists including Southern All Stars and King Gnu, and has also been active as a visual director since 2025.
