Usually, when adults try to study, they have to carve out time bit by bit before bed or in the morning. When the conversation turned to this, Sanpei remarked, "Looking back now, I feel that having time to learn whatever you want, as much as you want, was truly a luxury. In that sense, Juzo is very lucky to be able to enjoy studying as a new discovery." She also mentioned his personality, saying, "I think he has that obsessive, almost geeky nature where he gets completely sucked into something he finds fun."

Sanpei has been active as a voice actor since her own middle school days, but we followed up by asking if she would want to return to those days if she could, just like Juzo.

"I’d want to go back!" Sanpei replied instantly. "I’d probably be torn over how to spend such a luxurious amount of time, and since I'd have the stamina, I could stay up until the middle of the night (laughs). I get excited just thinking about how many fun things there would be to do (laughs)," she answered cheerfully.

When the topic moved back to the appeal of Kill Blue itself, she noted, "The slapstick comedy in the middle school takes up a large part of this series, but then you see Juzo—who was just being swarmed by middle schoolers a moment ago—show off sharp, professional action using his physical abilities and experience as a hitman. The development and the tempo of the story have a great sense of speed, which makes it very interesting."

At the end of the interview, she shared a message for the viewers: "Even though it's a story about a hitman being at the mercy of middle school life, the students and the assassins are so intense—or rather, there are so many eccentric people—that before you know it, Juzo starts to look like the normal one. The story moves at such a fast pace that it'll be over before you've even finished your snacks. I hope everyone enjoys watching it every week with some delicious treats in hand."
