"Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san" celebrates its 2nd anniversary on the cover! "Young Animal ZERO" June 1st issue now on sale

The June 1st issue of "Young Animal ZERO" was released on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This issue features "Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san" by Kamome Maruyono on the cover to commemorate its 2nd year of serialization, with a special double-chapter release of Chapters 20 and 21.

To celebrate the series' 2nd anniversary, the "Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san Collaboration Cafe 2026" has been announced, featuring recreations of the "deka-mori" (mega-sized) dishes from the manga. The event will be held at My Charaful Cafe in Tokyo from May 28 to July 5, 2026, and at motto cafe Osaka from August 26 to September 27, 2026. The print edition of the magazine includes an "extra coaster" voucher for the cafe and an application ticket for a chance to win an "Original BIG Hoodie," limited to 22 lucky winners.

This issue also showcases several popular series with color pages in the middle of the magazine. "Nigatsu ni Koroshite Sakura ni Umeru" by Tomato Tori appears with a high-volume double-chapter release, while "Sōsei no Taiga" by Kouji Mori and "Hi no Ryū no Kuni" by Asuka Ishii are also featured with color illustrations.
