A new second phase of "The Apothecary Diaries: A Journey for Two - Osaka Chapter," a collaboration between JR Central’s "Oshi Tabi" and "The Apothecary Diaries," launched on Thursday, May 14.

This ongoing project is a collaboration that allows fans to enjoy special moments with Maomao and Jinshi through exclusive content, including in-car special voices and readings on the Tokaido Shinkansen, as well as a tour around the city of Osaka.

Starting May 14 (Thu), the distribution of the second round of passenger benefits—a "Mini Sticker 2-Piece Set"—began at Animate Umeda for those who enjoyed the in-train content. Furthermore, the exclusive in-car special reading has been updated, now featuring "The Food Taster" (an excerpt from Volume 1, Chapter 6) performed by Takeo Otsuka, the voice of Jinshi. Additionally, a campaign is underway for participants of the in-car content, offering a chance for 15 winners to receive a "Plushie Set (Maomao & Jinshi)"—the first-ever plushie versions of the characters in their "Oshi Tabi" collaboration outfits—via a lottery.

At the same time, the long-awaited "The Apothecary Diaries" Original Light Novel Cafe opened its doors in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on the same day (the Osaka location opens on May 28). Under the supervision of the original author, fans can enjoy official recipes that immerse them in the world of the series, such as the soup Maomao tasted at the Garden Party and frozen treats made with ice and salt. As a tie-in with "Oshi Tabi," those who visit the cafe and order food or drinks after using the Shinkansen-exclusive content will receive an "Original Ticket-Style Card" as a gift.
