Momo's appearance—wearing a frilly maid outfit adorned with a red ribbon at the chest and her hair tied in twintails—became a massive hot topic online, with comments like, "Her expression, completely different from usual, was so cute!", "Maid Momo is gap moe lol," and "Her shyness makes it even better (lol)." That said, seeing how her true colors immediately bleed through the moment she lets her guard down, some also pointed out, "Momo-chan is cute in a maid outfit, but she is NOT cut out for this job lol."

The anime "DANDADAN" is based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It is an occultic, supernatural battle and youth story following Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, as they fight against various bizarre phenomena.
