"Detective Conan" x "Star Detective Precure!" A Dream Collaboration Comes True! Crossover Episodes to Air on May 31 and June 6

"Detective Conan," which began broadcasting in 1996 and celebrates its 30th anniversary of TV anime broadcasting this year, and "Star Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular "Precure" anime series broadcasting since 2004, have announced a special collaboration.

"Detective Conan" is a mystery series following Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who was forced to drink a poison by the Black Organization. His body shrank, and taking on the name Conan Edogawa, he solves various cases while living as a lodger at the Mouri Detective Agency run by Kogoro, the father of his childhood friend Ran Mouri.

"Star Detective Precure!" is the first-ever "detective" Precure in the history of the series. The story begins when the protagonist, Anna Akechi, time slips to the year 1999. The theme of the work is "See, feel, and think for yourself to find the 'true' answer." It depicts girls active as detectives with the desire to "help people in need" in their hearts.

Now, a miraculous, boundary-breaking "Great Detective Collaboration" has come to fruition between these two anime, which have different broadcasting stations and animation production companies. Along with this, a special collaboration visual has been unveiled. The visual features Conan Edogawa from "Detective Conan" and Cure Answer from "Star Detective Precure!" striking detective poses back-to-back.

Conan Edogawa will appear in Episode 18 of "Star Detective Precure!", broadcasting on May 31 at 8:30 AM nationwide on the ABC TV and TV Asahi network. Meanwhile, Cure Answer will appear in "Detective Conan", broadcasting on June 6 at 6:00 PM nationwide on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV network. Anticipation is high for these one-time-only special episodes. Furthermore, the release of limited-edition merchandise to commemorate this collaboration has also been confirmed.
