The anime "Daemons of the Shadow Realm" is based on the latest work currently serialized in "Monthly Shonen Gangan" by Hiromu Arakawa, the author of "Fullmetal Alchemist." It is a dark fantasy series that follows a young boy, Yuru, as he uncovers the lore, mysteries, and secrets hidden within his village after his hometown is attacked.

【Synopsis】
"Your ideal of a small, cute, and innocent little sister, Asa, is no longer... in this world." Hearing from Asa herself about how she obtained the power of "Kai" (Unbind), Yuru is left speechless by its sheer severity. Yuru then faces the truth that if he dies once, he will gain the power of "Fū" (Bind). At that moment, Dera visits the Kagemori mansion to pick up Yuru. After being invited to breakfast by the head of the family, Gonzou, and sharing information, Yuru is proposed to come to the Kagemori family, but he refuses immediately. He then makes a certain declaration to those who target his life and attempt to utilize his power.
