Fans Left in Stitches: "He Totally Stole the Show" and "Too Funny Without Saying a Single Word"! Flood of Comments Hilariously Call Out the Cast's Pre-Event Video for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"

The official X account for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" has released a promotional video for the "Kimetsu no Utage: Hashira Training Arc" Blu-ray & DVD, which went on sale on May 27, and it is generating a massive buzz.

The First Press Limited Edition of the product reportedly includes a digipak featuring an exclusive illustration by character designer Akira Matsushima, as well as bonus video content such as a post-event talk segment by the cast.

The released video captures the voice cast right before going on stage. Dressed in haori and costumes themed after their respective characters, the voice actors express their enthusiasm and share messages into the camera just moments before heading out.

The video successively shows Natsuki Hanae (voicing Tanjiro Kamado) running past full of energy while wearing Tanjiro's haori; Takahiro Sakurai (voicing Giyu Tomioka) waving in a calm tone in Giyu's half-and-half haori; Katsuyuki Konishi (voicing Tengen Uzui) pumping himself up with a passionate, loud voice; Kengo Kawanishi (voicing Muichiro Tokito) making a comical, jogging entrance just like Muichiro; Saori Hayami (voicing Shinobu Kocho) showing a smile while revealing her nervousness in Shinobu's haori; Kana Hanazawa (voicing Mitsuri Kanroji) waving innocently in a cute outfit inspired by Mitsuri; Kenichi Suzumura (voicing Obanai Iguro) smoothly making an announcement and leaving the words "Serpent Breathing"; and Tomokazu Seki (voicing Sanemi Shinazugawa) waving to the camera saying "I'll do my best."

Finally, Tomokazu Sugita (voicing Gyomei Himejima) is shown wrapped in a haori bearing the characters for "Namu Amida Butsu," quietly showing his respects with a one-handed bow, and silently walking along without uttering a single word from start to finish.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge. The story begins when Tanjiro, a young boy whose family was slaughtered by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his sister, Nezuko Kamado (voiced by Akari Kito), who has become a demon, back into a human. Since the broadcast of the "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" in April 2019, the series has sparked a social phenomenon with smash-hit movies and sequel broadcasts, garnering immense support across a wide range of generations.

While the other cast members left comments mindful of their respective characters, Sugita, who is usually highly talkative on variety programs and events, completely stayed in character as Gyomei Himejima by maintaining total silence, triggering a flood of hilarious call-outs from fans on social media.
