"Witch Hat Atelier" is based on the fantasy manga by Kamome Shirahama, currently serialized in "Morning Two" (Kodansha). Set in a world where those not born with magic must never look upon the moment a spell is cast, the high fantasy story begins when Coco, a girl from a small village who longs to be a witch, accidentally witnesses the young wizard Qifrey casting a spell, leading her to discover a "great secret."
