On May 29, a press preview and opening ceremony for the "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" collaboration program were held at "Universal Cool Japan 2026," currently taking place at Universal Studios Japan (USJ).

Atsumi Tanezaki, the voice of the protagonist Frieren, and Nobuhiko Okamoto, the voice of the Hero Himmel from the TV anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," took the stage at the ceremony.

The program features the new storytelling walk-through attraction "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Story Walk ~Journey of Memories~," the themed restaurant "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Restaurant of Memories~," and the ride attraction "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End × Story Ride ~The Journey of the Carriage and the Bird Monster~."

Tanezaki, who experienced the new attractions ahead of time, commented, "The moment I felt the realistic distance to the very first rock that Fern blasted through, and the moment Frieren showed us the magic that creates a beautiful flower bed—there were so many moments where I was on the verge of tears. Stepping into the world of Frieren, my eyes, ears, and all five senses were completely delighted." Okamoto expressed his excitement, saying, "It's the very streets and scenery I saw in the anime. Seeing Stark, who is the same height as us, made me feel like, 'He's right there! We are living right alongside Frieren and the others!' The statue of Himmel and the flower-bed-creating magic were so beautiful that it almost brought tears to my eyes."
