[Photos/Images] "First Trains, Now Pilots?!?!?!" New Airport-Themed "Jujutsu Kaisen" Collaboration Sparks Buzz with Nanamin's Perfect Look 1st

The official X account for the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime has released a newly drawn illustration along with the announcement of a collaboration event at Haneda Airport Garden, creating a huge buzz.

Starting on July 3rd, this event is being held to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime. In addition to plans for selling original merchandise themed around "airports," offering exclusive collaboration menus, and setting up photo spots, it has been announced that an Izumi Tenku no Yu collaboration hot spring admission ticket will also be available.

The released image depicts the characters dressed in uniforms reminiscent of pilots and cabin attendants against an airport background. The five characters—Kento Nanami (CV: Kenjirō Tsuda), Nobara Kugisaki (CV: Asami Seto), Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki), Megumi Fushiguro (CV: Yūma Uchida), and Satoru Gojō (CV: Yūichi Nakamura)—can be seen looking stylish in white shirts, ties, and hats as they walk while pulling their carry-on suitcases.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a hugely popular anime series based on the manga by Gege Akutami. It is a dark fantasy centered on the battles of Jujutsu Sorcerers who exorcise Cursed Spirits born from negative human emotions. The story follows the main character, Itadori, who enrolls in Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School after consuming a powerful Cursed Object, depicting his struggle against a cruel fate alongside his comrades.

With the "Juju Tanbou" (Juju Exploration) collaboration project with JR Central currently underway, fans responded to this post with overwhelming joy, leaving comments such as, "First trains, now pilots?!?!?!" and "What a feast for the eyes, it's HERE!" The response to how they wore their uniforms was particularly massive, with many comments focusing on their appearance, such as, "Nanamin looks so much like a captain!" and "Wait... what was Nanamin's actual day job again?"
