On the official X account for the original "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" manga, the latest addition to the plushie series "-ren," which has become highly familiar to fans, was unveiled. The adorable sight of her sheltering from the rain in a raincoat has sparked a huge conversation.

The post released this time was titled "Tsuyu-iri-ren" (Frieren Entering the Rainy Season). The image captures a plushie of Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki) wearing a blue raincoat and sheltering from the rain under a large leaf umbrella. A blue hydrangea flower is nestled on the head of the Frieren plushie, with more hydrangeas placed beside her. Furthermore, what Frieren is sitting in is none other than a Mimic with its mouth wide open. A surreal scene unfolds with the face of the Mimic peeking out from behind her.

The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada (story) and Tsukasa Abe (art). Set in a world "after" the Demon King has been defeated, it tells the story of Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on a journey to learn about humans. The first season of the TV anime aired from September 2023, and the second season aired from January 2026. Furthermore, the production of the third season, "The Golden Land Arc," has also been confirmed, garnering immense support across a wide range of generations.
