The OP theme song for the anime Though I Am an Inept Villainess has been decided as milet's new song "Sunny"! Additional cast members including Rei Igarashi and the main trailer have been released!

It has been announced that the opening theme song for the TV anime Though I Am an Inept Villainess will be milet's new song "Sunny." Along with this announcement, the main trailer featuring the song has also been released. Furthermore, an advance screening with a stage greeting by the cast will be held on Sunday, June 21, and a mega-hit prayer event will take place on Sunday, June 28.

The released main trailer depicts the fate of Kou Reirin, whose body has been swapped with Shu Keigetsu, the most "hated person" in the Hinamiya. It showcases the conspiracies and tactics unfolding within the glamorous Hinamiya, encounters with unique Hinajo (court maidens), and Reirin facing adversity positively without giving in, with milet's vocals coloring the worldview of the series. This marks the first time milet will perform an opening theme song for a TV anime as a solo artist.

The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting on the TV Tokyo network starting Sunday, July 12 at 23:45, and the new song "Sunny" will be available for streaming starting 0:00 on Sunday, July 12, the day of the premiere.

Additionally, as for the newly announced cast, Rei Igarashi will play Kō Kenshū, Ai Kayano will play Shu Gabi, Mai Nakahara will play Kin Seika, Inori Minase will play Ran Hōshun, and Yui Ishikawa will play Gen Kasui. Furthermore, former Takarazuka Revue top musumeyaku (lead female role) stars Madoka Hoshikaze and Jun Hana have been appointed as special supporters.
