On the official X account for 'The Apothecary Diaries' original novel, a photograph of a "folding fan," a new item for the original art exhibition, has been released, sparking a huge buzz.

This folding fan is themed around a design drawn by the character Chou-u in Chapter 9 of Volume 6 of the original novel, using Maomao the cat as a model. The released photograph reveals a vibrant depiction on the white surface of the fan: Maomao, the calico cat, curled up asleep, alongside a temari ball, bright red peony-like flowers, and fluttering butterflies. Wood is utilized for the fan's frame, and a vivid orange tassel is attached to the handle. Furthermore, it has been announced that other new items, such as the "Official Records" and "Acrylic Umbrella Markers," will be added to the art exhibition collection alongside this folding fan.

'The Apothecary Diaries' is a highly popular court mystery entertainment series based on the light novel by Hyuganatsu. The story follows Maomao, a poison-loving girl who was sold into the inner palace of a major empire as a servant.
