New Game "Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON" Set for Release in 2026! A Survivors Royale by the "Vampire Survivors" Development Team

It has been announced that "Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON," a new game based on the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen," is set to be released in 2026. The game is being developed by poncle, the UK-based studio known for the indie game "Vampire Survivors," and will be published by Shueisha Games.

In this survivors royale game, players control characters from "Jujutsu Kaisen" to battle against endless waves of Cursed Spirits while competing with other players. The basic controls primarily consist of character movement, utilizing automatically triggered attacks to defeat Cursed Spirits and earn points. The game features a system that allows players to add or change game rules for every 100 points earned, requiring strategic play to control the battlefield by interfering with opponents or stealing points. Ultimately, the winner is decided in a final showdown between the top two players.

More than 20 playable characters are planned to be implemented, each possessing unique skills and playstyles that can be unlocked by meeting specific conditions. Powerful bosses will also appear during battles. Furthermore, by filling a dedicated gauge to its maximum during gameplay, players can activate iconic ultimate moves such as "Domain Expansion" or "Black Flash," which significantly alter the state of the battle and affect surrounding players.

Additionally, a system is adopted where players can level up by defeating Cursed Spirits and gaining experience points, allowing them to choose from randomly presented skills to build a unique setup during each playthrough.

The planned platforms are Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. In addition to online multiplayer for up to 8 players, a solo play mode will also be available.
