The anime "Dr. STONE" series is based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Jump" (Shueisha), with the original story by Riichiro Inagaki and art by Boichi. Set in a world where civilization has collapsed due to the petrification of all humanity, the story depicts the exploits of the scientifically gifted boy, Senkū.
■Episode 36 "WHYMAN"
[Synopsis]
Senkū and his friends have successfully joined forces with Ryūsui, who flew into space on the Rocket No. 4, and have overcome equipment trouble. Finally, they arrive at the moon, Whyman's lair, and Senkū takes humanity's great first step onto the lunar surface. Kohaku and Stanley also land on the moon, promptly starting their exploration in the lunar rover. In the midst of this, an abnormality suddenly occurs in Kohaku's communicator, and the ominously squirming Whyman reveals its true identity before Senkū and the others...!!
