"A sword... so I can fight...!!" The Main PV & Episode 1 Synopsis Revealing Yuri's Turbulent Destiny Are Now Unveiled
As the first-ever television anime adaptation of Shinohara's work, this project has generated significant buzz. Now, the main PV and the synopsis for Episode 1 have been unveiled.
In a park filled with blooming cherry blossoms and a sparkling waterfront, Yuri is about to share a kiss with her boyfriend, Satoshi Himuro. However, Yuri's peaceful and happy daily life comes to a sudden end one day. Her ankle is grabbed by a "woman's hand" that abruptly emerges from a puddle. Dragged underwater before she can even resist, Yuri wakes up to find herself in the 14th-century BC Hittite Empire. She cannot help but scream, "What is going on?! I was on a date with Himuro! So why?! Where on earth am I?! What is this place?!"
There, she encounters Kail, the third prince of the Hittite Empire who hides her as his concubine, and Queen Nakia (CV: Aya Uchida), the ruthless queen who summoned Yuri as a sacrifice for a curse. Furthermore, Nakia's mysterious confidant Urhi (CV: Kōji Yusa), Kail's trusted younger brother and the empire's fourth prince Zannanza Hattušili (CV: Shōya Chiba), Kail's brilliant strategist Ilbani (CV: Tomoaki Maeno), and Prince Mattiwaza of the Mitanni Kingdom (CV: Kōsuke Toriumi)—who will later stand before Yuri and her allies as a powerful enemy—also make their appearances.
In addition to the romantic scenes between Yuri and Kail, the end of the video features Yuri's powerful line, "A sword... so I can fight...!!" With a sword held high toward the heavens shining brilliantly, the main PV builds anticipation for the turbulent story that awaits her.

Yuri is an ordinary girl living in Japan. However, strange water-related incidents suddenly begin to happen around her.
