Impressions of the character and points focused on during recording:
Kunishige Rokuhira is a legendary swordsmith, but at the same time, he is a warm father. I focused on performing in a way that naturally conveys both of these appealing traits. I would be happy if people can enjoy the bright and fun side of his everyday humor, while feeling the weight in every single line during scenes where he speaks of his convictions as a swordsmith.

Feelings upon getting the role and enthusiasm for the anime:
I was truly happy when I was chosen for the role of Kunishige Rokuhira. "Kagurabachi" is a work loved by many fans, and Kunishige is a vital presence in the story. I am doing my best to properly deliver the passion of the original manga and the feelings of the characters in a way that only an anime can achieve.

First impression of the work:
When I first read the original manga, my impression was, "This is simply a truly passionate work!" Not only is the action powerful, but emotions like determination, loss, and revenge are also deeply depicted, drawing me in immediately. It has a unique worldview, making it a series that leaves you constantly wanting to know what happens next.

Kunishige Rokuhira's greatest appeal:
I think Kunishige's appeal lies in his strength to stick to his convictions and his deep affection. I myself am the type to fully immerse myself in what I love, so I might relate to him a little bit.
