As the grand finale of the new "Chapter 2" visuals released on the 22nd of every month ("Maomao Day") from the official X account of The Apothecary Diaries anime, "June: White Clover × Maomao & Jinshi" has been unveiled. Jinshi (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka) struggling to weave a flower crown has sparked a huge buzz for being absolutely adorable.

While Maomao (CV: Aoi Yūki), who is already wearing a white clover crown and necklace, points at her hands to give weaving advice, Jinshi holds clover stems in both hands, looking intensely focused yet clearly struggling to make his crown. Jinshi's clumsy side, a stark contrast to his usual graceful demeanor, stands out beautifully against the peaceful landscape complete with a refreshing blue sky and little birds.

The anime The Apothecary Diaries is an inner court mystery-solving entertainment based on the light novel series by Hyuganatsu. Set in a Chinese-style inner court, the story follows Maomao, a young apothecary girl, as she uses her knowledge of poisons and medicine to unravel various mysteries and incidents occurring within the palace.
