■ Takuya Sato as Hakubi:

I will be voicing Hakubi. I'm Takuya Sato. I never, ever dreamed that the day would come when I would be involved in a work by Rumiko Takahashi-sensei. What Hakubi manipulates is the metal element. There is a destiny that forces him to fight against Mao and the others. I will absolutely not lose! I won't let myself lose! I will do my absolute best.

■ Rie Kugimiya as Natsuno:

I am Rie Kugimiya, and I have been cast as Natsuno. It has been quite a long time since I first took the audition to this announcement, so I am first of all very happy to finally be able to share this with everyone! I intend to perform with all my might, so thank you very much for your support!

■ Katsuyuki Konishi as Daigo:

Hello, everyone. I am Katsuyuki Konishi, and I will be voicing Daigo in "MAO." I can't believe I get to be involved in a work by Rumiko Takahashi-sensei again! If my childhood self found out, he would be jumping and rolling around with joy! Thank you all so much!!

■ Tasuku Kaito as Soma Kagami:

I am Tasuku Kaito, and I will be voicing Soma Kagami in the TV anime "MAO." It is a great honor to be involved in a work by Rumiko Takahashi-sensei, whose world completely draws you in every time you turn the page! Please look forward to seeing how Soma interacts with the characters in this world!

■ Shino Shimoji as Kagari Hosho:

"Me, in a work by Rumiko Takahashi-sensei?!" Even when I was cast as Kagari, I was full of disbelief, and even now, with the recording finished and the broadcast approaching, I still can't quite believe it.

It was a type of role I hadn't played very often, but unraveling each and every one of Kagari's words and actions was incredibly interesting and left a strong impression on me. Also, everyone welcomed me warmly at the recording studio, and interacting with Mao, Nanoka, and the others was so much fun, so I am eagerly looking forward to the broadcast. Please continue to support "MAO" in its 2nd cour!

TV Anime "MAO" 2nd Cour Textless Opening Video Pre-released on YouTube and Other Platforms Before the Start of the 2nd Cour Broadcast

The textless opening video for the 2nd cour opening theme, "Bokura ga Uwagaki suru Sekai" by 20th Century, has been pre-released on YouTube and other platforms ahead of the start of the 2nd cour broadcast. Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, and Yoshihiko Inohara of 20th Century, who were active as V6, are also causing a huge stir by handling the opening theme for an anime based on Rumiko Takahashi's original work, 26 years after "Inuyasha."
