On the official X account for the original DANDADAN manga, a celebratory illustration by manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto was released, sparking a massive buzz online. In response, DANDADAN creator Yukinobu Tatsu couldn't help but jokingly call out a subtle mistake in the artwork, drawing attention to the heartwarming interaction between the two creators.

In the post on the official manga X account, the illustration was unveiled along with words of gratitude: "[Celebratory Illustration Released] We received this from Tatsuki Fujimoto-sensei of Chainsaw Man! Thank you so much!"

The image features the transformed state of Ken "Okarun" Takakura (CV: Natsuki Hanae) drawn in Fujimoto’s distinct touch—stylish yet eerie. In the background, a large character "Da" from the series title is placed like a manga panel, and a handwritten message in the foreground reads, "Congratulations on the 5th anniversary!" However, a look at the signature underneath reveals it reads "Fujimoto Tariki" , as he forgot to add the dots for the katakana "tsu", accidentally turning it into "ri".

In response, Tatsu made a humor-filled jab, saying, "Fujimoto-kun, thank you for the celebratory illustration! It's rare to get a chance to have someone draw something like this, so I'm really happy! You can totally draw more! Hurry up and write your next work! Also, it says Fujimoto Tariki! You forgot the dots for 'tsu'!" Tatsu previously served as the main assistant for Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man (Part 1).

DANDADAN is an occult battle and youth story based on the popular manga by Tatsu. It follows Momo Ayase (CV: Shion Wakayama), a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, as they stand up against bizarre phenomena that defy mutual understanding. The unpredictable developments blending sci-fi and horror, the fast-paced action depicted with overwhelming artistic skill, and the comical banter between the characters have captivated many readers.
