Production confirmed for "Record of Ragnarok IV"! Special teaser PV and comments from the original creators arrive: "The 10th and 11th rounds will be the main focus"

Production for "Record of Ragnarok IV," the fourth season of the anime "Record of Ragnarok," has been confirmed, and a special teaser PV and logo have been released.

This work is an anime adaptation based on the manga serialized in "Monthly Comic Zenon" since 2017 (art by Azychika, original story by Shinya Umemura, composition by Takumi Fukui). It depicts a 13-match series of one-on-one battles between representatives of gods and humans from all over the world, fighting for the survival of humanity, and the cumulative circulation of the original manga has surpassed 18 million copies.

The third season, "Record of Ragnarok III," which was streamed on Netflix in December 2025, made it into the Netflix Weekly TOP 10 in 83 countries and regions. Along with the final episode of the TV broadcast on MBS, TOKYO MX, and BS11, the production of this fourth season was announced.

To commemorate the confirmation of Season 4's production, comments from the original creators and newly drawn illustrations have also arrived. Shinya Umemura, the original author, mentioned the highlights, saying, "I think the 10th and 11th rounds will be the main focus in Season 4... both are battles where you can enjoy expressions unique to anime, with a serious swordplay battle and a battle of wits unseen since the Jack match." Takumi Fukui, in charge of composition, commented, "I hope for a battle so hot that it yearns, a brilliance of souls so hot that it is dazzling, and for everything to become hot, hot, and hotter." Azychika, the manga artist, expressed joy over the anime adaptation, saying, "To think we can see a new phase in the anime...!!!"
