Grandma and an Anatomical Model Enjoying the Sea! Fans Flood with Comments Saying "Only DANDADAN Would Do This lol" at the Unique Summer Visual

The official X account for the TV anime "DANDADAN" has released a summer version illustration from the "What is Everyone Doing in Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter? Visuals," which is currently becoming a hot topic.

The post introduces the characters, stating, "Summer ver. Seiko (CV: Nana Mizuki) enjoying the sea, Turbo Granny (CV: Mayumi Tanaka), Tarō the anatomical model (CV: Tomokazu Sugita), and Hana, also an anatomical model (CV: Fumi Hirano)," and adds, "Tarō wants to show his best side to Hana..." It was also announced that the third season of the TV anime will be broadcast in 2027, and the latest 24th volume of the manga is now on sale. Furthermore, on April 1, a spring version illustration was released, depicting Momo Ayase (Momo, CV: Shion Wakayama),  Ken "Okarun" Takakura ( CV: Natsuki Hanae), Aira Shiratori (CV: Ayane Sakura), and Jin Enjoji (CV: Kaito Ishikawa) in business suits.

In the released image, Seiko is seen relaxing under a parasol in a bikini and T-shirt, while Turbo Granny, in the form of a maneki-neko (welcoming cat) wearing sunglasses, drinks juice in the foreground. In the background, Tarō is surfing, Hana is standing on the water's edge, and giant faces of Tarō and Hana float in the sky.

The anime "DANDADAN" is an occult battle and youth story based on the manga of the same name by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+." The story follows Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After visiting designated spots to prove the existence of the supernatural phenomena they each believe in, they find themselves facing approaching anomalies one after another.
