—The contrast between Yukime's distinctive hair color and her white outfit is striking. What specific details did you focus on for this cosplay?

Tsuda: For the wig, I made sure to give it defined flips so it wouldn't look flat, trying to make it as fluffy as possible to recreate Yukime's look. I also thought having a snowman would make it even more like Yukime, so I made one too. Since it's just round styrofoam, I managed to make it in about 10 minutes (lol).

—The snowman is cute too (lol). We interviewed you at last year's "AnimeJapan" and other events as well. What do you find fun or rewarding about showcasing your cosplay at events?

Tsuda: At events, it's not just photographers; general attendees who are just there to have fun often come up to me and say things like, "She's my favorite character...!" There are many times I wonder if my cosplay is really good enough, but when people say things like, "I'm so happy to meet you!" or "It suits you so much!" and show their joy, it makes me incredibly happy and really encourages me.

So, I think being able to have that kind of interaction is a unique advantage of events. When I see cosplayers doing characters I love at event venues, my heart always flutters too (lol).

—On the flip side, what parts do you find challenging?

Tsuda: As for the hardships, depending on the venue, the photography area is often outdoors only, so it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter... it really becomes a test of endurance! When it's a long session, I'm continuously being photographed for several hours, so it naturally built up my core strength (lol). I think outdoor shooting at events is very tough for photographers too, so I'm full of gratitude to everyone for always taking such beautiful photos...!

—Not at all! Lastly, please let us know if you have any upcoming events you plan to attend.

Tsuda: I've been participating as a circle at Comiket since last year, and I plan to release new works, mainly a new photo book, at this summer's Summer Comiket. The photo shoots are still ahead, but I'll do my best to create a wonderful piece, so I'd be very happy to meet many of you at Summer Comiket! In the future, I want to focus not only on character cosplay but also on my own creative activities.

Also, I mainly post announcements about event attendance on X. I also have many photos on Instagram that I haven't posted on X, and I upload cosplay videos on TikTok. I will continue to share information about my circle on social media, so I'd love it if you could check them out! Thank you very much!

—Thank you so much!
