The first cour of the anime "Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken" concluded with its final episode on June 26. A new visual has been released for the series, whose second cour is scheduled to air and stream in 2027.

The legendary action manga "Fist of the North Star," written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, has been beloved by fans in Japan and abroad ever since its first TV anime adaptation in 1984, spanning numerous media adaptations along the way. With cumulative sales surpassing 100 million copies, it has rightfully earned its status as a landmark of action manga.

Now, in 2026, "Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken" returns as a full anime adaptation with an entirely new staff, cast, and the latest visual technology, bringing the original's appeal to life without compromise. The battles of the men living at the end of the century carve a new legend for the Reiwa era.

The newly released visual depicts a scene from the first cour in which Kenshiro and Rei fight while standing back to back. The image is striking, with a large moon looming in the background and the Big Dipper glowing on the bodies of Kenshiro and Rei.
