Anime Black Clover 2nd Season Unveils Full PV With a Dark Atmosphere! Opening Theme by WANIMA

The TV anime Black Clover 2nd Season, set to begin broadcasting in October 2026 on the TV Tokyo network and other stations, has unveiled a full promotional video packed with newly animated footage. It has also been decided that the series' opening theme will be "Kienai Riyuu" (which translates to "The Reason That Won't Disappear"), performed by the three-piece rock band WANIMA.

Black Clover is a popular fantasy series by Yuki Tabata that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump GIGA from February 2015 to May 2026. The PV for the 2nd Season, which enters the new "Spade Kingdom Conquest Arc," depicts intense action scenes alongside a dark atmosphere filled with a sense of despair that pushes the characters to their limits. The footage also marks the first reveal of part of "Kienai Riyu," the opening theme performed by WANIMA.

In addition, to celebrate the broadcast of the 2nd Season, a congratulatory comment and a newly drawn illustration have arrived from original creator Tabata. Tabata expressed his anticipation for the new series, saying, "I'm the one who's most excited to see the characters' appeal and the intense magic battles that only anime can bring to life!" A comment was also received from WANIMA's KENTA (Vo/Ba), who is in charge of the opening theme.

In addition, an official anime TikTok account (@bclover_anime) sharing the series' appeal has also been newly launched.
