On the official X account for the anime The Apothecary Diaries, a hint image has been released for the newly written recitation play scheduled to be performed at The Apothecary Diaries ~Summer Garden Party 2026~, which will take place at Pacifico Yokohama on Saturday, August 15. This has quickly garnered significant attention.

Although the released image only features silhouettes of the characters, fans are buzzing with massive excitement, speculating that the performance might be themed around the school mystery-solving concept from The Apothecary Diaries ~School Diaries~, which was previously announced as an April Fools' project. Note that the official details of the program are kept under wraps with a note stating, "Please look forward to the day of the event," and it has also been announced that streaming tickets for the evening performance are currently on sale.

Looking at the image, silhouettes of what appear to be six characters are depicted. The figures in the silhouettes can be seen wearing outfits reminiscent of school uniforms, such as blazers, pleated skirts, and ties. With visuals like a tall male silhouette with long hair tied back standing slightly right of the center, and a short-haired female silhouette standing third from the left, it looks as though the familiar characters are dressed in modern student uniforms.

The anime The Apothecary Diaries is a series based on the light novel by Hyuganatsu. Set in a grand empire located in the center of the continent, it is a mystery-solving entertainment that follows Maomao (CV: Aoi Yūki), a young girl who used to work as an apothecary in the pleasure district. After being sold to the rear palace as a servant, she gets entangled in various incidents involving the handsome eunuch Jinshi (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka) and others, resolving one difficult case after another within the palace by utilizing her inherent knowledge of pharmacology.
