"Everyday Host" Musical Set for November! New Anime Visual Featuring Koichi Also Released

A stage adaptation has been confirmed for "Everyday Host," a slice-of-life gag anime set in the world of a host club. Additionally, a new visual from the upcoming anime series, newly drawn by director and screenwriter Rareko, has been released.

Set in "Club One," a host club located slightly away from the glamorous streets of Shinjuku, "Everyday Host" is a manga series by Nimo Goto that depicts the daily lives of highly eccentric and unique hosts. A TV short anime was broadcast in April 2025, and the "nightlife" daily comedy of the unique hosts—voiced by a gorgeous voice-acting cast including Hiro Shimono, Taku Yashiro, Tasuku Hatanaka, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kōtarō Nishiyama, Yuichiro Umehara, Kōhei Amasaki, and Hidenobu Kiuchi—garnered significant attention. A new series has already been greenlit to broadcast starting January 2027.

Based on the buzzing TV anime "Everyday Host," the HAPPEY MUSICAL "Everyday Host" will bring the daily lives of these unconventional hosts to the stage as a musical this November.

The script and direction for this production will be handled by Norihito Nakayashiki. In addition to writing and directing all works for his own theater company, "Kaki Kuu Kyaku," he has been widely active across various genres, including writing for the Hyper Projection Play "Haikyu!!" series and writing/directing for the "World Trigger the Stage" series.

Along with the stage adaptation announcement, comments have arrived from the original manga creator, Nimo Gotō, and the scriptwriter/director, Norihito Nakayashiki.

Furthermore, a new visual newly drawn by director and screenwriter Rareko has been unveiled from the new TV anime series scheduled to air in January 2027. The visual captures an ultra-rare slice-of-life scene where Koichi, the representative and absolute No. 1 host of Club One, is "getting ready for work" while putting on his socks—showing a side completely different from his luxurious nightlife persona. Anticipation is high to see what kind of wild and unhinged stories they will unfold in the new series.
