Zombie Land Saga Unveils "Sitting Cake" Illustration of Franchouchou in Lolita Outfits, Delighting Fans

AMNIBUS' official X account has announced that a POP UP SHOP for the film Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise will be held at select Loft stores, unveiling alongside it a newly drawn illustration based on a "sitting cake" concept that has become a talking point among fans. The shop is scheduled to run for a limited time from Friday, September 18, 2026.

In the newly drawn illustration, all seven members of Franchouchou are dressed in elaborate Lolita fashion inspired by the "sitting cake" concept. Members including Sakura Minamoto (voiced by Kaede Hondo) and Saki Nikaido (voiced by Asami Tano) strike poses holding oversized forks, wearing outfits decorated with motifs reminiscent of cake cream and fruit. Whipped cream is arranged at their feet, making for a cute yet distinctive composition.

Zombie Land Saga is a popular anime that follows a group of girls revived as zombies who form the idol group "Franchouchou" to save Saga Prefecture. Its colorful cast overcomes the harsh reality of being zombies in a story full of both laughter and tears. Episodes brimming with love for their home of Saga Prefecture, along with its appealing music and dance performances, have captivated many viewers and earned it a devoted following.

The lavish illustration set social media abuzz, with fans posting reactions such as "Saki looks so hot! I have to have this!", "Ai's tongue-out pose!!!", "Tae looks so alluring," "Junko's hat is exactly how I imagined it," "Best visual I've seen in ages," and "So cute I could scream." On top of that, cast members could not hide their surprise either: Minami Tanaka, who voices Lily Hoshikawa, and Asami Tano, who voices Saki Nikaido, each responded with a quote retweet saying "Wait a second…"
