Hiro Shimono Calls Out Daisuke Namikawa's Unique Food Commentary

In the second half of the show, the segment "Veteran Voice Actors Try Something New" — in which the two veteran voice actors take on various "first experiences" — was held. This time, they tried the buzzworthy "ultra-chewy donut" for the first time, giving their impressions of the novel sweet.

Shimono described the texture, saying, "It's less like a donut and more like the texture of mochi. It's not really a donut anymore! It's totally mochi! But it's so light!" Namikawa, meanwhile, fired off one quirky comment after another, such as, "It goes past your teeth — you don't even need your lips," "There's a room inside it! It's like a 2DK apartment!" and "The more you chew, the more it feels like your teeth are multiplying." Shimono shot back, "I have no idea what you're talking about!" and "You're not usually this dumb — why do you suddenly turn into an idiot?"

There was also a segment in which they tried tosenkyo, a traditional Japanese game. Unable to hit the target as he'd hoped, Shimono was told by Namikawa, "You're really bad at this!" to which he shot back, "This is my first time!" — sparking a back-and-forth from early on. The two struggled to knock down the target for much of the rest of the segment, in a showdown fitting of the Thursday duo.
