'I Wanted to See These Four Together': Jujutsu Kaisen x Yokohama City Announce August Collab as Illustration Goes Viral

The anime Jujutsu Kaisen has been rolling out 5th anniversary projects since 2025 and is set to reach its finale in the summer of 2026. To celebrate the anime's 5th anniversary finale, a collaboration between Jujutsu Kaisen and the city of Yokohama has been decided.

Jujutsu Kaisen (written by Gege Akutami) is a hit manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2025, with worldwide cumulative circulation (including digital editions) surpassing 150 million copies.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the franchise's first film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, became a massive hit with worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen. The second season, covering the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs, aired from July to December 2023 and sparked a huge response both in Japan and around the world. In 2025, the compilation film Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and a revival screening of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 were released in theaters, followed by the nationwide theatrical release of Jujutsu Kaisen the Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Edit x Culling Game Preview Screening. Additionally, the third season, "Culling Game, Part 1," aired from January to March 2026. Now, production of the long-awaited fourth season, "Culling Game, Part 2," has been confirmed, and excitement continues to grow.

The newly announced Jujutsu Kaisen x Yokohama City collaboration will roll out collab events across various locations in Yokohama starting August 1, centered around Yokohama Cosmo World, YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, and Yokohama Marine Tower. During the event period, a wide range of content is planned, including photo spots and a campaign to give away original stickers, offering plenty to enjoy while touring around the city of Yokohama. In addition, as the finale event for the 5th anniversary, "Juju Fes 2026 -5th anniversary-" will be held at K-Arena Yokohama on August 29 and 30.

On the official Jujutsu Kaisen anime X (formerly Twitter) account, which announced the collaboration, an illustration titled "Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary x Yokohama Cosmo World / YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN" was released, showing Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo taking a selfie together. The illustration drew reactions on social media such as, "This is the four of them I wanted to see" and "Their visuals together are just amazing..."
