A pop-up store selling an apparel collection from the new apparel brand ODDGOOD, based on the TV anime BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, will be held for a limited two days, July 17 and 18, in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Bleach is a sword-fighting battle action comic by Tite Kubo that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. With cumulative series sales exceeding 130 million copies, it remains fiercely popular around the world even after its conclusion. The TV anime, which began airing in October 2004, has produced more than 360 episodes to date, along with four feature-length theatrical films. The anime adaptation of the final arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, began airing in October 2022 on the TV Tokyo network and others. The final cour — subtitled "The Calamity" (roughly, "The Tale of Advancing Calamity") — will begin airing on July 25, 2026.
This pop-up store will be the first domestic showcase of items previously unveiled at Anime Expo 2026, one of the world's largest anime events, held in Los Angeles, USA. The lineup features items for five characters — Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Shunsui Kyoraku, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and Kon — as well as items featuring the Quincy Cross design. By fusing the appeal that overflows from a single scene in the series with the brand's own unique perspective, the collection brings out the series' refined aesthetic to its fullest.
At the venue, a limited-edition sticker will be given to everyone who purchases one or more items, and a campaign will also be held in which three winners will receive merchandise autographed by Masakazu Morita, the voice of Ichigo Kurosaki. In addition, online sales will begin the day after the pop-up store closes, on July 19, through the official online store ODDGOOD.
