'I Want to Protect Girls': Yoko Hikasa's True Personality Comes to Light, One Rumor After Another
This episode featured the special segment 'Confronting Her Directly! Exposing the Truth! A Thorough Investigation into the Rumors About Yoko Hikasa,' in which Hikasa herself judged whether numerous rumors about her were true or false.
First up was the rumor that "she's strict with junior colleagues in order to train up-and-coming voice actors," which Hikasa confirmed was true. She shared her own philosophy on mentoring, saying she sometimes gives strict guidance to junior colleagues at her own talent agency. Serizawa, on the other hand, declared, "Sorry, but I don't have even the slightest intention of training my juniors! Fewer rivals is better!" — prompting Hikasa to shoot back, "I figured as much!"
The questions kept coming, including rumors like "she decided to become a voice actor because she admired Kotono Mitsuishi" and "she did a lot of independent practice during her training school days." Hikasa talked about what inspired her to become a voice actor and shared stories from her training school days, but as the conversation turned serious, she blushed and said, "Ugh, I hate this. What is this show?" Serizawa jumped in, teasing her: "Yoko, why are you getting embarrassed?" Hikasa replied, "I think it's better to avoid this kind of topic, because it makes me too serious! I can't do variety-show stuff at all!" — livening up the studio.
