Yu Serizawa Deems Her "I Want to Protect Girls" Comment Swoon-Worthy Too
There was also a segment where Hikasa responded to rumors submitted by viewers. Asked about the rumor that "she deliberately makes female voice actors swoon over her," Hikasa seemed puzzled, asking, "What does swoon even mean?" — but went on to say, "I want to protect girls" and "I don't want to see anyone with a sad expression." Serizawa responded, "Hikasa makes people swoon not through a role, but just by being who she is as a person! There are definitely junior colleagues who are supported just by her presence."
The show went on to check out a variety of other rumors. Asked about the rumor that "she regrets accepting the offer to host Say You To Yo Asobi," she answered immediately: "That's true! Of course I do!" She also confirmed the rumor that "she sets her alarm for 8:30 a.m. but wakes up at 6 a.m. anyway," which prompted Serizawa to tease, "That's something grandmothers say!" Hikasa also confirmed many other rumors — that she loves going for walks, that she often becomes the mood-maker on set, and that she tries to find the fun even in things she dislikes — revealing more about her personality.
At the end of the segment, after finishing off more than 40 rumors, Hikasa proposed, "I want you to do rumors about Seriko too!" Serizawa replied, "I'm doing my best to stay squeaky clean, though," but Hikasa revealed, "I think this one is actually pretty gloomy deep down."
