A Rare Classic Series Arrives on Apple TV! "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show"
A rare, classic animated series that has left its mark on the history of television animation, produced by Mendelson/Melendez Productions, is now streaming on Apple TV.
"The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show" (1983-1986) is based on Charles M. Schulz's comic strip Peanuts, animating the classic original stories across a full 18 episodes. Focusing on the everyday lives of the Peanuts gang, it depicts Charlie Brown's misadventures and Snoopy's flights of fancy with plenty of humor.
A Hugely Popular Animated Series Is Also Streaming Now! "Camp Snoopy" Season 2
Season 2 of "Camp Snoopy," the hugely popular series depicting Snoopy and friends heading off to summer camp — a must-watch for summer vacation — is now streaming. It's a lively, fun outdoor adventure in which Snoopy, Woodstock, and their fellow bird scouts, the Beagle Scouts, venture out into the great outdoors. Set at the majestic Spring Lake Camp, Season 2 sends Snoopy and his Beagle Scout friends on an even bigger outdoor adventure.
In addition, production has been confirmed on a new animated feature film — the biggest adventure yet — that Peanuts fans have long been waiting for, and it is set to stream on Apple TV.
The film "Snoopy Unleashed" (working title), set to stream in 2027, depicts Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang heading to a bustling big city to find Snoopy after he runs away from home. Along the way, the gang meets new friends and comes to realize that true friendship means loving each other exactly as they are — an even more heartwarming and grand story than ever before.
The director is Steve Martino, known for the hit film "The Peanuts Movie." The producer is Bonnie Arnold, a two-time Academy Award nominee known for the "How to Train Your Dragon" series.
