"Wait, what?! 1st place! Congrats!" Voices of joy pour in as ViVi announces the "BLUE LOCK" National Treasure-Level Egoist TOP 10 and fans celebrate their faves' rankings

The results of the "National Treasure-Level 'Egoist' Ranking from BLUE LOCK" have been announced via ViVi's X account, generating a massive buzz. Fans are expressing surprise over their favorite characters' placements with comments like, "Wait, what?! 1st place! Congrats!" and "I can't believe this ranking," as well as sharing their excitement over the selected iconic scenes with remarks such as, "I'm so happy that post-match quote got picked."

This project features the top 10 characters and iconic scenes, decided by over 20,000 fan votes, which will be released as bonus stickers in the September issue of ViVi, on sale July 23rd. The same issue will also include a massive feature on the live-action movie. The regular edition stickers are packed with the popular, national-treasure-level handsome and "egoistic" characters, while the special edition is filled with fans' favorite iconic scenes. As for the ranking results, Yoichi Isagi took 1st place, followed by Seishiro Nagi in 2nd, and Michael Kaiser in 3rd. Ranking next are Reo Mikage in 4th, Alexis Ness in 5th, Rin Itoshi in 6th, Hyoma Chigiri in 7th, Sae Itoshi in 8th, Wataru Kuon in 9th, and Meguru Bachira coming in at 10th.

The released images offer a look at the sample stickers included in both the regular and special editions. The special edition stickers feature designs that crop out memorable manga panels for each character, scattered with scenes that evoke the intense developments of the story—such as Isagi tightly gripping a microphone, and the players sprinting across the pitch with fierce expressions. Meanwhile, the regular edition stickers boast a chic design, arranging Polaroid-style bust-up illustrations of the top 10 ranked characters against a blue-toned background.

"BLUE LOCK" is a blockbuster soccer manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, Illustrated by Yusuke Nomura). Its unique, death-game-like elements set in a training facility aimed at creating the world's greatest striker have struck a chord with readers. To date, it has expanded into a wide array of multimedia adaptations, including a TV anime, a theatrical anime film, and a stage play, with a live-action movie also set to premiere on Friday, August 7th.
