From July 17, a collaboration project between the job-placement service "Recruit Agent" and the hit manga Space Brothers, which is nearing its conclusion, gets underway. New original artwork and a special web movie weaving together iconic scenes from the original story will be released.

Space Brothers is a moving story that follows elder brother Mutta and younger brother Hibito as they hold onto a childhood promise to "become astronauts," each facing his own challenges while deepening their bond. Recruit Agent, meanwhile, carries the mission of "standing by each person's potential and supporting their choices," with career advisors helping job seekers work through their anxieties and doubts while drawing out their strengths and possibilities.

This project came together because the story of protagonist Mutta believing in his dream and growing alongside his companions as he works to make it real resonates with the service's stance of standing beside people as they step toward new possibilities through a career change. It carries a message of support for everyone aiming higher through a job change, whatever their dream or goal may be.

Special Web Movie Released

"Mutta... right now, I just have this feeling..." "That someday I'll become an astronaut and go to the moon." The movie opens with these words — the origin of the brothers' grand dream — spoken by younger brother Hibito to his older brother Mutta.

The movie is built around a wealth of iconic Space Brothers scenes depicting the brothers envisioning their dream and opening one small door after another as they carve out their path to space. Woven in are famous lines about "dreams" from Brian, the legendary astronaut who appears in the original manga, making this a movie of encouragement for adults who are chasing their dreams and refuse to give up on them.
