Top Voice Actors, But Certified "Bad Palates"!? Shotaro Morikubo & Sogo Nakamura: "We're Done Talking About Food"
In the next segment, Matsumoto's announcement rights were once again on the line in a blind taste test to guess "which one is the pricier option." In the first round — A: cheap pickled squid snack or B: premium pickled squid — all three correctly identified the answer, but in the second round — A: cheap supermarket chocolate or B: premium chocolate — both hosts answered A and got it wrong.
Matsumoto, the only one to answer correctly, secured the announcement rights and celebrated with mock tears, asking, "Can I cry!?" Morikubo and Nakamura, who had missed the answer, were made to wear "bad palate" headbands. Nakamura commented, "We're done talking about food from now on," while Morikubo lamented his crushing defeat, saying, "Seriously, I had no idea what I was eating." The studio erupted in laughter once again.
Finally, having successfully secured the announcement rights, Matsumoto introduced the anime song live event "ANISON CROSS FES!!," taking place in August. Matsumoto, who is spearheading the event and will also perform, commented, "I want to bring children energy, courage, and smiles. Anime songs have that kind of power." The hosts nodded firmly, and the studio remained filled with a warm atmosphere until the very end.
