The gap between the tiny, cute characters and the harsh worldview has gained wide popularity among adults and children alike, with its followers exceeding 4.88 million to date.

The anime Chiikawa is currently broadcasting on Fuji TV's Mezamashi TV every Tuesday and Thursday at around 7:36 AM.
