◆Shizuki Keisuke (voiced by Yuuto Uemura)
A high school boy who worked to improve himself after a heartbreak in middle school, successfully pulling off his high school glow-up. He aims for a peaceful high school life, but his personality won't let him leave people in trouble alone, so he tends to get dragged into all kinds of hassles. Because of the trauma from that heartbreak, he becomes physically ill whenever he makes eye contact with a beautiful woman.

Q1. Please tell us your impressions of reading the original work, your impressions of playing the role, and your enthusiasm for what's ahead.
Shizuki's kindness — wanting to spend his high school life in peace but unable to leave Kusunoki alone — is really endearing. I'm playing him while balancing serious scenes with comedic ones, taking care to keep a natural, high-school-appropriate feel. I'm looking forward to seeing these charming characters in action.
Q2. Is there anything you'd like to "debut" at right now?
I love eating bread on a daily basis, and I've finally started wanting to get myself a home bakery machine. I'd love to have a wonderful morning where I wake up to the rich aroma of freshly baked bread. If I end up making too much, I'll try bringing some in to share on set.
◆Kusunoki Shizuka (voiced by Tomori Kusunoki)
A classmate who attended the same middle school as Shizuki. In middle school she was a plain, gloomy girl, but after successfully pulling off her high school glow-up, she has drawn attention as the prettiest girl in her grade. In truth, she's bad at conversation and struggles to make friends, but she's trying to change for the better.

Q1. Please tell us your impressions of reading the original work, your impressions of playing the role, and your enthusiasm for what's ahead.
Kusunoki has an introverted side but also an upbeat one, and her expressions change so quickly that I can't help but follow them with my eyes. Between her relationship with Shizuki and everything else, I find myself turning to ash from how pure she is, while doing my best to carefully portray her cuteness and honesty!
Q2. Is there anything you'd like to "debut" at right now?
I recently got my driver's license, but... the day I can debut on the Shuto Expressway still feels far off... It's scary.
