It has been announced that a TV anime adaptation of "Because I, the True Saint, was Banished, that Country is Done For!" (original work by Utsuzawa Shikiso, character design by Pukyunosuke, comic adaptation by Matsu Mokuba) has been confirmed to air in 2027.

Originating on the novel-posting site "Shōsetsuka ni Narō," the series has surpassed 1.5 million copies in cumulative circulation. Saint Eliane is suddenly told by her fiancé, First Prince Claude, that their engagement is off — and, to her shock, she is banished from the country. Fed up with Claude's psychological abuse and infidelity, Eliane decides to use the opportunity to set out on a journey! Along the way, she meets Nigel, a prince from a neighboring country. After saving him from a crisis, Eliane ends up living in his castle as a token of thanks, and goes on to reveal her true power in his homeland... This is a joyfully uplifting restart fantasy about a banished saint.

To mark the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual, the anime's official website, and the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account have been released.

Animation production is handled by TSUMUGI AKITA ANIMATION LAB, the studio behind "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince" The teaser visual depicts the protagonist, Saint Eliane, and Prince Nigel — whom she meets during her travels — standing together on a castle rooftop, and comes together with the tagline "After being banished, I found happiness!" to build anticipation for what's to come.
