The official X account for Frieren: Beyond Journey's End posted a photo of a plushie of the protagonist, Frieren, in front of Akagi Nyugyo's frozen confection "Garigari-kun Soda," along with the title "Garigari-ren." Fans have been chiming in with playful banter over this shot, which evokes a scene from the main anime.

In the released image, a light blue "Garigari-kun Soda" ice pop taken out of its wrapper and its package are placed right in front of the Frieren plushie seated on a chair. Taking a closer look at the plushie's head, the original twintail parts seem to be lifted up, crossed, and tied together on top of her head, recreating the silhouette of having a bath towel wrapped around one's head after taking a bath. Notably, in Episode 31 of the anime (Season 2, Episode 3), there is a scene where Frieren enjoys a light blue ice pop after a bath while wearing a towel around her head, making this a photo that strongly recalls that moment.
